Jamie Lee Glime Santaniello

             ARTIST  &  TILEMAKER
"“Divine realization is a state impossible to explain, because nothing can be compared to it”
Paramahansa Yogananda

Jamie has been winning awards for her art since 1971, and knew from a very early age she was being pursued by Grace.  Because of a deeply troubled childhood she learned to trust more in God and her creative desires, and believes that He who Created her will maintain her.  It was during this time escaping into art began.  In these early years the young Jamie Glime watched her mother gradually loose her joy in life, and her ability to paint and play music by the young age of 40.  This left an indelible mark defining - the creative expression of an artist is equal to the air they breathe - these are our Gifts, our Truth, our Soul.

This unbridled passion got her thru many obstacles, and fueled her hunger to experience as many painting mediums as possible - oils, pastels, acrylics, encaustic waxes, watercolors, mixed mediums / Ceramic tiles - underglaze painting, and carved drawings into fired glazed surfaces /  Stone slabs and tiles - carvings and paintings w/ custom color mixes and staining techniques

Please view a few of the artists lifetime achievements such as her original historical mural piece, The Mission San Juan Capistrano, along with the many tiles she designed and made for many designers and architects, such as Douglas Durkin, San Francisco at waverlytile.com , and most notably the work she did for Miss Oprah Winfrey’s Promised Land.
