Oprah Winfrey commissioned Jamie to create a "Jerusalem Marble" hand carved massive slab of stone of her favorite Oak Tree on her Montecito Estate In Santa Barbara, Ca-  Oprah titled "The Promised Land".  This is the drawing of that cherished oak tree that took Jamie 10 months to draw.  These Encaustic Rubbings are taken from that duplicate "STUDY" of that same stone slab. The encaustic rubbings are all hand made - hand rubbed - and burnished into Korean Kozo paper made to last literally forever. Each Limited Edition Encaustic Rubbing comes with Jamie's signature, a Letter of Authenticity, numbered (#/200), and Jamie's stamp of Authenticity on the Oak Tree Rubbing.

We no longer plant trees with every purchase and have reduced the price of each encaustic rubbing accordingly. We do however donate 5% net of every purchase to one of our Reforestation Partners; National Forest Foundation, National Audubon Society or One Tree Planted.
