Oprah Winfrey commissioned Jamie to hand-carve a stone slab in Jerusalem marble, depicting her favorite oak tree on her Montecito estate near Santa Barbara, California—an estate she calls “The Promised Land.”

The full-size encaustic rubbings are created from the carved duplicate study of this tree.
