The 4" x 4" sample paper is not stretched (as the large tree rubbing is), the image is only from a 3" x 3" deco tile from Miss Winfrey's kitchen, (see deco behind lemon martini on promotional page), it is not detailed like the large Oak Tree Rubbing, The 4" x 4" color samples are created very quickly for color reference, (as the large tree rubbing is meticulous and detailed showing all of its branches and leaves and takes days to complete), the paint is not burnished into the paper on the 4" x 4" samples with heat (as the large tree rubbing is), and is not a true representation of the massive Promised Land Oak Tree Encaustic Rubbing which will show all of its branches and detailed appearance of millions of leaves.
The color samples are ONLY TO SHOW ONE OF THE FAVORITE COLORS SO FAR (Raw Sienna, Indigo or Cerulean), and the mulberry tree fibers the paper is made from.
Although we have sold a fair share of Black, Alizarin Crimson, Nata Green, Egyptian Violet, Mars Red, Viridian, Thalo Blue, Ultramarine Blue, and Burnt Sienna before they became a limited edition and the recording of 42/300 so far, the three colors sent out USPS as free samples to Waverly Showrooms are the majority of 3 colors sold so far, however all are gorgeous.

So ya'll were wondering"what the hell happened to Frank and Jamie", and now you know. We both traveled for a period of time together, then went back to creating beautiful pieces of art. Both of our sons, Mike and Nick are also incredible artists, so we guess as the saying goes - is true, "the apple does not fall far from the tree".
Yes we created five beautiful ceramic tile lines in the recent past and the market was not ready for them. Now the market is flooded with decorative tile and stone, some of it very beautiful, some of it butt ugly. Since these tile lines were specified for Wizard Enterprise 6 x 6 gloss white and Wizard sold out to Materials Marketing Bespoke - everything made to order, we decided that it was not worth our effort to continue, these tiles lines will be sold to the highest bid when we feel the market is ready for them.

Jamie oversees these encaustic rubbings for the last and final stage of the process, enhances all areas with her magic touch, then puts her signature to them. Either Frank, Michael or Nicholas Santaniello do the lions share of the work, and rightfully so, since they were the ones that hand carved this massive tree into the Jerusalem stone slabs in 2003 (after Jamie finished the graphite pencil drawing) for both the "STUDY" and the slab that went above Oprah's kitchen stove from 2003 to 2013, when the kitchen was remodeled. 1. The rubbing will get professionally museum quality matted and framed as specified in contract (estimated cost is $1200-$2000 depending if glare free or tempered glass is used or not).
2. The showroom will display the Signed Framed Rubbing on a showroom wall for a period of 3 years, after 3 years the rubbing becomes the property of the proprietor of the showroom and can then be taken home. Matting, Framing and hanging will be done within 60 days of receiving.
